Hedge Trimming

Hedges provide an immense amount of privacy and create the setting for a beautiful sanctuary in an urban setting.  Our team of experts can assess the health of your hedge while looking for any insect or disease issues you may have.  Protecting the health of your hedge is the first step to keeping it thick and full for maximum privacy.  Second step to a healthy hedge is keeping it clipped annually or biannually.  Clipping of hedges is extremely important if you want thick and beautiful results.

It is important to remember that hedges are made up of trees that we have planted in a row.  In order to keep those trees, whether they are cedar, emerald cedar, beech, linden, or hornbeam varieties thick and full, they need to be clipped.  Otherwise, they will start to grow outward in a normal growth pattern and become less of the screen or privacy hedge and more like a row of trees.

Lastly, you want to ensure you are clipping or manicuring them at the best time of the year with the best equipment possible.  We have the knowledge and equipment to get the job done.  We have recently added a self-propelled lift to our list of equipment that can access through a 36-inch gate and setup safely reaching upwards to 82 ft in height.  Needless to say, there is no job too big or too small for our expert staff.  We have bucket trucks for front yard work and can clip hedges up to 14 ft off our orchard ladders.

We can discuss different options for clipping your hedge, and often recommend rounding the tops to allow snow or ice to roll off easily in the winter.  We can look at guying up or cabling loose limbs and have been known to take older overgrown hedges and turn them back in time to a beautiful private hedgerow.   We don't only work on hedges with our equipment.  We clip pyramidal oak, pyramidal beech, ornamental pear trees, hornbeam, ivory silk lilac, contain weeping beech trees, and much much more.

Our staff and equipment are here to help and keep your hedges and ornamental trees looking great. When the job is complete we will clean up all the debris and rake and blow the property, this creates a seamless service for you to enjoy your space the next or the same day.  We know landscapes and trees and would love the opportunity to meet with you and help make your property something of great joy and appreciation.
